Nashina Ebrahim
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Toronto and a MA in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, where I trained in evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support individuals navigating identity, relationships, mental health, and life transitions. My practice is rooted in an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed framework, ensuring therapy is a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. I am governed by the ethical standards of both the CRPO and the CCPA, maintaining a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client-centered care.
My practice focuses on supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent adults, and those experiencing life changes, anxiety, and identity exploration. I integrate relational, psychodynamic, and somatic approaches with practical tools to help you move toward self-understanding and healing.
As a therapist, I value warmth, curiosity, and collaboration. Whether you’re questioning who you are, facing challenges in a world that wasn’t built for you, or simply needing a place to process, I’m here to support you in a way that respects your unique journey.
I am committed to culturally responsive, queer and trans-affirming, and neurodivergent-friendly therapy, always working to create an environment where you don’t have to translate your experiences to be understood. If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, I’d love to connect.

“No feelings are eternal. No matter how anxious, helpless, hopeless or overwhelmed you may feel, you will not feel that way forever– they will eventually come to pass. However, sometimes you may need a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, or a helping hand to reach out to work through those feelings. In those moments, reaching out is often the crucial first step on your journey.”

Professional Background and Accessibility Disclaimer
I am a Deaf Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), enrolled with the College of
Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I recognize that there is a need for therapists like me, who not only understand the unique life experiences and challenges faced by the Deaf Communities, but also the realities of discrimination, accessibility challenges and communication barriers faced by people living with disabilities or chronic pain/illness.
My support extends beyond just Deaf individuals: regardless of their walk of life, anyone is welcome to work with me. My belief is that accessibility and accommodations is a two-way street. Therefore, I strive to make therapy accessible, convenient and affordable for everyone involved, utilizing technological accommodations such as closed captioning for those who do not know sign language so that they may speak to me, chat features for written communication, as well as a text-to-voice application that I would be using for clients who prefers to have a fully verbal therapy.
I may be a good match for you if….
- You prefer a more casual/conversational tone in your therapy;
- You’re looking for a more online experience to your therapy;
- You have limited availability and requires a >exible therapist;
- You prefer evening appointments;
I seek to support people with disabilities, or people who live with chronic illnesses, as well as those who have sleeping problems. I also support those who are challenged by anxiety, perfectionism, procrastination and/or self-esteem issues in their daily lives, as well as those undergoing a life transition.
I work with late teens (16+) and adults of all ages, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations.
Do you not meet any of those criterias? No problem, I’m open and willing to explore new avenues with you! I invite you to book a free consultation with me to see for yourself those accommodations in action and to see how I can support you in your journey.
